Fredericton - The Fredericton Rowing Club battled strong winds and competition over the weekend to finish second overall at this year's Atlantic Crew Classic in Fredericton.
After one hour wind delay on Saturday afternoon, races commenced under blue skys with only the final two races being carried over to Sunday morning.
Kennebecasis Rowing Club won the event with 333 points followed by FRC with 218 with Micmic and North Star rowing clubs from Nova Scotia finishing in third and fourth positions.
