Dartmouth , N.S. – The Fredericton Rowing Club placed 4th overall with 152 points at the Nova Scotia Sprints Regatta held on Lake Banook , Dartmouth on the weekend.
Eight Clubs took part in the invent that included the Halifax Rowing Club, Mic Mac and North Star Clubs from Nova Scotia, the Fredericton and Kennebecasis Clubs from New Brunswick, Boucherville and Club d'Aviron de Laval from Quebec and the St. John's Rowing Club from NewFoundland and Labrador. The Kennebecasis Rowing Club won the event.
Some members of the Fredericton Rowing Club took home medals by winning their respective events over the weekend. Pat Cody, Senior Men's Straight Four & Senior Men's Quad, Janice Lawrence and Alex Maher , Senior Women's Pair, Dave Pettit, Master Men's Mixed Four & Master Mixed Eight Dash and Kevin Lunn, Masters Single.
