DARTMOUTH, N.S. - FRC finished third out of seven clubs at the 36th Annual Nova Scotia Sprints held on the weekend at Lake Banook in Dartmouth, N.S.
The club captured several medals including the senior women's eights and senior women's dash events in back-to-back races as the team improved on their fourth place standing a year ago at the regatta.
FRC captured the JrW2-, JrW8+, SrW8+, SrW8+ dash, MM1X and MM2X categories and had several other boats reach the finals.

Seven clubs and four provinces took part in the two-event which was won by the North Star Rowing Club of Dartmouth with St. John's Newfoundland finishing in second place. The Sprints are the premiere summer rowing regatta held in the region.
